Yellow Finch Learning Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Yellow Finch Learning!

We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

The item must be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at kailey@yellowfinchlearning.com.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please see, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

At Yellow Finch Learning, we strive to provide our customers with affordable and reliable shipping options. For most of our orders, we offer USPS Media Mail as our preferred method of shipping. Below is a breakdown of our shipping policy:

Shipping Method: USPS Media Mail

  • What is Media Mail?
    USPS Media Mail is a cost-effective shipping option for books, DVDs, CDs, educational materials, and other media items. It is a slower shipping method but provides significant savings for customers ordering eligible items.

  • Eligible Items:
    Media Mail is only available for products that meet USPS requirements. These include:

    • Books

    • Printed music

    • DVDs, CDs, and audio recordings

    • Educational materials (e.g., textbooks, lecture notes)

    • Other media that are allowed under USPS guidelines.

    Note: Non-media items are not eligible for Media Mail and will be shipped using an alternative service.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Times:

  • Shipping Rates:
    Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your order and the delivery destination. Media Mail is one of the most affordable options, making it ideal for those purchasing eligible items in bulk or looking for savings.

  • Estimated Delivery Time:
    USPS Media Mail typically takes 2 to 8 business days for delivery, depending on your location. Please note that this is an estimated time, and delivery may take longer due to factors like weather conditions, holidays, or postal delays.

Processing Time:

  • Orders are processed within 1-3 business days of receipt. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

  • Tracking Information:
    Once your order is shipped, we will provide a tracking number so you can monitor its progress. Please note that USPS Media Mail can sometimes experience longer processing times, so it may take a little longer for tracking updates to appear.

Digital Products:

  • Delivery Method for Digital Products:
    All digital products purchased from Yellow Finch Learning will be delivered via email in PDF format. Upon completing your order, you will receive a confirmation email, and within a short time, a separate email with a link to download your digital product will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

    Note: Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.

Additional Information:

  • Address Accuracy:
    Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • International Shipping:
    At this time, we only offer USPS Media Mail shipping for domestic orders within the United States. We do not offer international shipping for Media Mail, but other shipping options are available for international orders.

  • Lost or Damaged Items:
    If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us at kailey@yellowfinchlearning.com We will assist you with filing a claim with USPS and determining the best resolution.
